The company has completed 20 Phenom 120-month inspections and numerous NXi installations
The Eagle Creek Family of Companies is celebrating another milestone in Phenom maintenance and service at its Embraer Authorized Service Center. The company has completed 20 120-month/10-year inspections on Phenom aircraft, while accomplishing the landing gear overhauls due at the same interval.
The 120-month inspection is a major inspection required for Phenom 100 and 300 models. The inspection includes all required 120-month airframe inspection items, along with associated “stacked” inspections, 24-month pitot static and transponder test, required engine inspections and R&R of landing gear.
The timing for the major inspection coincides with the required 120-month landing gear overhaul. The gear overhaul includes complete disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repairs, NDT, reassembly, functional testing and painting.
“During this time of uncertainty, we realize many of our customers may not be flying their aircraft as often as normal, but we also understand that mandated inspections still need to be completed in order to maintain airworthiness,” said Matt Hagans, CEO, Eagle Creek Aviation. “We are working even closer with our customers to schedule required inspections, while being flexible with timing, offering pick up and drop off service, along with providing a thorough disinfection process prior to delivery.”
The company has also completed five G1000 NXi integrated flight deck upgrades with a number of installations underway or pending. They also have kits in stock and ready for installation.
The G1000 NXi upgrade is designed for Phenom 100 aircraft equipped with the Prodigy Flight Deck. The G1000 NXi allows for wireless flight plan and database updates, SurfaceWatch runway monitoring technology, visual approach guidance, HSI map and more.
